Talga Group (ASX:TLG) signed a nonbinding letter of intent with Japan-based Dainen Materials for the supply of its battery anode material Talnode-C from the Vittangi anode project in Sweden, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The compnies are targeting September to negotiate a binding term sheet and seek to execute a definitive long-term strategic anode offtake agreement by December.
They will support further qualification of the battery anode material to meet the specifications of Dainen's Japanese battery manufacturers and customers.
Talga Group's shares rose nearly 2% in recent trading on Thursday.
