Taiwan's consumer confidence index rose to a four-month high of 65.05 in June from 62.08 in May, with all six sub-indices improving, according to the National Central University Taiwan Economic Development Research Center.
The biggest gain was in sentiment toward stock investment timing, which climbed 7.84 points to 29.9, while confidence in the domestic economic outlook recorded the smallest increase, rising 1.61 points to 80.87.
The survey, conducted June 18 to June 21, found all six indicators remained below 100, suggesting consumers were still generally pessimistic despite the monthly improvement.
