Taiwan Mobile (TPE:3045) unit Taiwan Cellular plans to launch a public tender offer for the shares of Systex (TPE:6214), according to a Thursday Taiwan Exchange filing.
Systex will respond to the tender offer in accordance with Taiwan's regulations governing public tender offers after receiving the relevant registration statement, prospectus and other documents from Taiwan Cellular.
The filing did not disclose details like the offer price, number of shares sought or tender offer period.
Grand Korea Leisure (KRX:114090) plans to invest 168.8 billion won to renew the lease for its existing Gangnam COEX business site upon expiration of the current lease agreement, according to a Thursday filing with the Korea Exchange.The new facility investment aims to ensure stable operations across the business site and maintain the operating base. The investment covers lease payments for the period through Oct. 4, 2035, excluding value-added tax, management fees, taxes, and public dues, the filing said.The new lease agreement is scheduled to be valid from Aug. 21, it said.Shares of the casino operator fell nearly 4% in recent trade.
Sunwoda Electronic (SHE:300207) agreed to invest 4 million yuan to establish a joint venture with three other investors, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Thursday.The venture, Shenzhen Xincheng Digital Services, will have a registered capital of 10 million yuan and will be developing software and services related to blockchain technology and other internet services, as well as offer services in engineering and technology, natural sciences and industrial design.The company will own 40% of the venture.Shenzhen Dianlian Technology, Shenzhen Li'an Technology and Shenzhen Xincheng Zhiyuan Enterprise Management Partnership (Limited Partnership) are the other joint venture partners, holding 20%, 10% and 30%, respectively.The lithium-ion battery maker's shares fell 1% during the morning trade.
Doosan Fuel Cell (KRX:336260) secured four fuel cell system supply and service contracts from YH Power 1 and YH Power 2, according to several filings with the Korea Exchange on Thursday.The fuel cell system supply contract and a long-term service agreement (LTSA) for fuel cell systems with YH Power 1 are valued at 31 billion won and 28.8 billion won, respectively. The contract for the fuel cell system supply is valid till March 31, 2028, and the LTSA is valid till March 31, 2048, the filing said.The fuel cell system supply contract and the LTSA for fuel cell systems with YH Power 2 are valued at 29.6 billion won and 27.5 billion won, respectively. The contract for the fuel cell system supply is valid till March 31, 2028, and the LTSA is valid till March 31, 2048, it said.Shares of Doosan Fuel Cell added nearly 8% in recent trade.
