T2 Metals (TWO.V) has started drilling at its Aurora Gold-Silver Project in Yukon's Tombstone Gold Belt, it said Thursday.
Rotary air blast drilling is ongoing and the company is planning approximately 20 holes for 1,400 m in the initial phase, which will test several shallow targets in the vicinity of three known mineralized areas, said the company.
"RAB drilling is a cost-effective tool to test numerous targets at shallow depth quickly, and the combination with on-site XRF analysis means we can adjust the program in real time," said Chief Executive Officer Mark Saxon.
The company's shares were last seen unchanged at C$0.41 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
