SuperQ Quantum Computing (QBTQ.CN) on Tuesday said it closed a private placement of share units, raising C$4.6 million, including the full exercise of the over-allotment option.
The company sold 5.9-million unit priced at C$0.78 apiece and made up of a share and a two-year warrant to buy a share for C$1.00.
Proceeds will be used for quantum hardware development, including human resources, lab facilities, software and equipment, conduct research and product development, and for the general working capital needs.
Shares of the company were last seen up C$0.04 at C$0.64 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
