Sun Silver Intersects Silver, Antimony Mineralization at Nevada Project

Sun Silver (ASX:SS1) intersected broad silver and antimony mineralization at the Maverick Silver project in Nevada, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

Drilling returned 89 meters at 70 grams per tonne (g/t) silver equivalent (AgEq) from nearly 127 meters, including 38 meters at 100 g/t AgEq from 134 meters, including 0.8 meters at 1,296 g/t AgEq from 134 meters, the filing said.

The antimony mineralization was intercepted 60 meters above the delineated mineral resource estimate, with cumulative antimony mineralization over 100 meters.

The company is assessing the distribution and potential scale of antimony mineralization across the project as it receives further multi-element assays from ongoing drilling, per the filing.

Shares rose nearly 2% in morning trade Thursday.
