StandardAero (SARO) said Thursday GE Aerospace selected the company to build, maintain and overhaul CT7-2E1 engines for the UK Ministry of Defence's new medium Helicopter fleet.
The agreement covers 46 engines, along with spares, spare parts and long-term support, for 23 Leonardo AW149 helicopters scheduled for delivery to the UK Armed Forces between 2030 and 2033.
StandardAero said the work will be performed at its Gosport facility in the UK.
Shares of StandardAero were up 2.5% in Thursday trading.
