Stampede Drilling (SDI.V) said Thursday Greenland Energy will provide US$4 million in upfront capital funding to support upgrades to the company's drilling rig for Arctic operations in East Greenland's Jameson Land Basin.
Stampede plans to mobilize the rig from Nisku, Alberta, in the third quarter of this year.
Drilling is contingent on Greenlandic government approval.
