South Korean manufacturing output expanded at a faster rate in July versus the previous month, S&P Global said Monday.
The latest seasonally adjusted S&P Global South Korea Manufacturing PMI rose to 53.1 from 52.1 in June.
S&P said the rate of improvement was among the fastest recorded over the past four years.
Strong expansions in output and new orders drove the acceleration, alongside a renewed increase in employment. Input cost inflation eased in July to a pace not seen since the outbreak of the Middle East conflict.
