South Korea's GDP grew 3.7% year over year in the second quarter, according to preliminary data released by the Bank of Korea on Tuesday.
The pace of growth was softer than the 3.8% expansion recorded in the previous quarter, but was in line with the consensus forecast for a 3.7% growth, according to Investing.com.
On a quarter-over-quarter basis, the economy expanded 0.6%, compared with the 1.8% growth in the previous quarter. It was also in line with the consensus forecast of 0.6%.
