Sonoro Gold (SGO.V) reported assays from the first 10,000 meters of its ongoing 50,000-meter drill program at the Cerro Caliche gold project in Mexico.
The results identified a new potentially significant mineralization and confirmed extensions of mineralized corridors, the company said Tuesday.
Highlights include 18.29 meters at 3.392 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, 13.71 m at 0.704 g/t gold and 9.14 m at 3.076 g/t gold and 26.1 g/t silver.
Sonoro said it expects the new drilling data to help the company optimize its geological model and redefine new drilling targets.
