SLB Wins OQEP Contract for 548,000-B/d Oman Facility

SLB (SLB) secured a major contract from OQ Exploration & Production to expand the Bisat-B facility in Oman to 548,000 barrels per day, the company said Wednesday.

The project targets the next phase of Bisat Field development and supports OQEP's production growth plans, with SLB scheduling completion within 19 months.

The award extends SLB's partnership with OQEP, following SLB's delivery of the Bisat-A facility in 2018 and the original Bisat-B facility in 2020, the company said.

SLB will provide integrated project delivery from engineering through commissioning, then support facility operations and maintenance, continuing its role in the Bisat Field's development and operational performance, the company said.
