Factory-gate prices in Singapore rose in July, with the Domestic Supply Price Index climbing 33.4% year over year, while the Singapore Manufactured Products Price Index grew 35.5%, according to data from the Singapore Department of Statistics released Friday.
The Domestic Supply Price Index growth accelerated from the 29.8% increase logged the previous month, beating the Trading Economics forecast for a 28.5% growth.
The Manufactured Products PPI expansion accelerated from the 31.1% increase recorded in June.
On a month-on-month basis, the Domestic Supply Price Index rose 2.3% in July after falling 3% in June, while the Manufactured Products PPI edged up 2.5%, reversing the 0.7% drop between May and June.
