Silver One Resources (SVE.V) shares rose 5% on Wednesday after it restarted drilling activities at the Candelaria Silver project in Nevada following a "brief interruption," the company said Wednesday.
No drill holes were completed during the May 2026 drilling program and the single hole that was initiated, was abandoned due to operational issues, the company added.
Silver One expects the completion of site setup to occur about a day after mobilization, which will be followed by drilling.
"While the termination of the earlier contract was disappointing, our priority is always to ensure safe, efficient, and technically sound execution," said Silver One Resources CEO Greg Crowe.
Shares of the company were last seen up C$0.02 at C$0.42 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
