Sichuan Chuantou Energy Unit's Solar Plant Damaged by Typhoon Maysak

Sichuan Chuantou Energy (SHA:600674) subsidiary Guangxi Nongguang's 183.6-megawatt photovoltaic station in Guangxi, China, suffered asset losses from Typhoon Maysak, with no casualties reported.

Preliminary inspections revealed water damage to most equipment, including modules, inverters and transformers, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

The final loss amount is pending further assessment and insurance claim settlements.

The energy company is conducting comprehensive post-disaster surveys and working to restore production.

Shares of Sichuan Chuantou Energy rose 2% in recent trade.

China Southern Airlines Warns of Wider H1 Loss
