SHAPE Australia Agrees to Acquire Retail Shopfitting Business

SHAPE Australia (ASX:SHA) agreed to acquire Australian Professional Shopfitters from Handa Manufacturing for up to AU$29.4 million, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The transaction includes an upfront consideration of AU$20.4 million and up to AU$9 million in contingent consideration over a two-year earn-out period, the filing said.

Consideration and transaction costs for the acquisition will be funded through cash and scrip, per the filing.

IPH Appoints CEO

IPH (ASX:IPH) appointed Anthony O'Malley as its new managing director and Chief Executive Officer with effect from July 1, succeeding Andrew Blattman, who plans to retire, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.O'Malley was most recently the global legal business solutions leader at PwC. Blattman will continue to provide support to the firm until Nov. 30.

Bremworth Backs Floorscape Agreement Amid Speculation Over Regulatory Clearance; Shares Down 3%

Bremworth (NZE:BRW) said it continues to believe that its October 2025 agreement to be acquired by Floorscape represents the best available opportunity to provide value to shareholders, according to a Thursday filing with the New Zealand bourse.The company issued the statement after becoming aware of speculation over its strategic options if the New Zealand Commerce Commission (NZCC) rejects Floorscape's clearance application for the transaction."Bremworth continues to have confidence in the merits of the scheme for shareholders and New Zealand consumers and will continue to engage with the NZCC," the company said.It added that the board will assess remaining alternatives if the NZCC does not grant clearance.The company's shares fell nearly 3% in recent Thursday trade.
