Senvest Capital (SEC.TO) on Tuesday said it received Toronto Stock Exchange approvals to renew its normal course issuer bid.
Under the bid, Senvest can repurchase and cancel up to 100,000 of its shares or 4.14% of its 2.42-million outstanding shares as of Aug. 18, for a 12-month period beginning Aug. 27.
Under its existing NCIB, which expires Wednesday, the company repurchased 13,000 of an allowed 100,000 shares.
Senvest has interests in merchant banking, asset management, real estate and electronic security.
The company's shares last traded Aug.20, closing at C$435.00 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
