Sego Resources Completes Five-lines 3D IP Volterra Diamond Array Program at Miner Mountain in British Columbia

Sego Resources (SGZ.V) completed its five-lines 3D Ingress Protection Volterra diamond array program by SJ Geophysics Ltd., the company said in a statement Thursday.

It identified multiple deep IP targets beneath both the Cuba Copper Gold Zone and the South Gold Zone at Miner Mountain in British Columbia, Sego said.

The company anticipates drilling to begin in mid-October. Its exploration team, with inputs from SJ Geophysics, has developed a new 3D model containing the IP "chargeability and resistivity", all the past diamond drill holes completed by the company, with geology and mineralization, it said.

Sego Resources will finalize drill hole collars, azimuth, dip and lengths once the magnetic survey has been incorporated in the 3D model.

Shares of the company were last seen unchanged at CA$0.03 on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Kinross Gold Lowers 2026, 2027 Gold Production Outlook

Kinross Gold (K.TO) after trade Wednesday lowered its 2026 and 2027 production outlook, now expecting annual attributable production of about 1.84 million to 1.86 million gold equivalent ounces, 2% to 3% under its prior targets.The change to the guidance is mainly due to extreme weather and operational challenges at two smaller mines, La Coipa and Round Mountain, the company said, adding that it expects to produce about 425,000 gold equivalent ounces in the third quarter.The company also said it now expects production cost of sales for 2026 of about $1,420 to $1,460 per gold equivalent ounce sold and all-in sustaining costs of about $1,850 to $1,900 per ounce sold."Reflecting its strong cash flow outlook and balance sheet strength, Kinross is increasing its return of capital target from 40% to 50% of free cash flow to shareholders for 2026," it added.
