Novartis (NVS) shares were up more than 6% after the company said phase 3 trials of remibrutinib showed significantly reduced annualized relapse rates compared with teriflunomide in adults with relapsing multiple sclerosis.
Medtronic (MDT) stock was up more than 2% after the company posted higher fiscal Q1 adjusted earnings and revenue.
MiniMed (MMED) reported a fiscal Q1 breakeven, compared with a loss a year earlier, as net sales increased during the period. MiniMed shares were down more than 5% premarket.
