Secom (TYO:9735) profit attributable to owners of the parent fell 3.4% to 24.1 billion yen for the fiscal first quarter from 24.9 billion yen a year earlier.
The security services company's basic earnings per share (EPS) dropped to 59.81 yen from 60.24 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.
Net sales grew 3.6% to 298.5 billion yen for the three months ended June 30, from around 288.0 billion yen in the year-ago corresponding period.
For the six months ending Sept. 30, Secom expects attributable profit of 44.5 billion yen, basic EPS of 110.73 yen, and net sales of 617.0 billion yen. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company forecasts attributable profit of 105.8 billion yen, basic EPS of 263.57 yen, and net sales of 1.314 trillion yen.
Secom expects to pay interim and year-end dividends of 60.00 yen per share each for the current fiscal year.
