Searchlight Resources Starts Airborne Surveys on the Mari Lake Gold Project

By

Searchlight Resources (SCLT.V) has begun high-resolution airborne magnetic and radiometric surveys covering all Mari Lake Gold Project claims in Saskatchewan, it said Tuesday.

The company has contracted Special Projects to conduct the surveys focusing on the Kississing River Shear Zone which hosts the known "high-grade" gold occurrences, it said.

"Despite the encouraging results from prior surface sampling and diamond drilling, Mari Lake is still relatively unexplored, as drilling was done to a vertical depth of less than 50 meters, and no geophysics was done to find additional gold bearing structures," said Chief Executive Officer Stephen Wallace. "Searchlight's current exploration program will address some of these limitations."

The company also contracted TUZO GeoSurveys to conduct the UAV photogrammetry and Lidar survey at the Robinson Creek gold target, added Searchlight.
