SDIC Power Unit o Provide 365-Million-Poud Loan for Scotland Wind Project

SDIC Power (SHA:600886) unit Red Rock Renewables plans to provide a shareholder loan of 364.6 million pounds sterling to ICOHL, a 50/50 joint venture developing the 1,080-megawatt Inch Cape offshore wind project in Scotland.

The loan, with an 8% annual interest maturing June 2049, will fund construction and operations, according to a Monday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

Fellow shareholder ESBII UK Limited will provide equivalent financing proportionally.

Shares of the power company rose 1% in recent trade.
