SDIC Power's (SHA:600886) unit 3 of phase 3 of the 660-megawatt SDIC Qinzhou Power Plant went online on Monday following a 168-hour trial operation, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The power plant, operated by SDIC Qinzhou No. 2 Power Generation, has a capacity of 3.3 billion kilowatt-hours and a heating capacity of about 800 tons per hour.
The power plant has high-efficiency dust removal, desulfurization, and denitrification facilities, the filing said.

Sequoia Financial Group (ASX:SEQ) former Chief Executive Garry Crole has been banned by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) for 10 years from performing any function involved in carrying on a financial services business as a director or responsible manager, according to a Tuesday statement by ASIC.The regulator said Crole failed to adequately respond to serious concerns about the financial advice model used by former Interprac-authorized representatives, who advised thousands of clients to invest superannuation in the now-collapsed First Guardian and Shield Master Funds.The company did not immediately respond to anemail request for comment.
