SDIC Power Commences Operations at Unit 2 of Zhoushan Gas-Fired Power Project

SDIC Power Holdings (SHA:600886) said Unit 2 of the gas-fired power generator of its subsidiary, SDIC Jieneng (Zhoushan) Gas Power Generation, has commenced operations, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Wednesday.

The unit, which is one of the two 745-megawatt units of the SDIC Zhoushan project, completed a 168-hour trial operation on Aug. 31. It's designed to operate with a power generation capacity of approximately 2.5 billion kilowatt hours every year.

The power producer's shares rose 2% during the morning trade.

Under the expanded agreement, MediaTek will adopt Nvidia's NVLink Fusion platform, designed to help hyperscalers, cloud providers, and AI model developers build custom accelerator chips that connect into Nvidia's rack-scale data center systems.The pact also entails enhancing existing collaboration on Nvidia RTX Spark and DGX Spark chips for consumer and enterprise PCs, as well as AI-powered automotive platforms built around MediaTek's Dimensity Auto line.
