The output in Saudi Arabia's construction sector returned to growth in May, mainly driven by a rebound in residential activity, Alrajhi Capital and S&P Global said Monday.
The headline seasonally adjusted Alrajhi Capital Saudi Construction Index rose to 51.2 in May from 48.5 in April, according to data from the newly launched survey.
The sector recovery also indicated a renewed growth in new work orders following a two-month decline, and an increase in business activity expectations.
