Saputo (SAP.TO) on Thursday said it secured approval from the Toronto Stock Exchange to increase its normal course issuer bid.
The dairy-products company can now repurchase for cancellation about 24.3-million shares, or 10% of its public float, up from about 20.5-million shares previously.
Saputo said it upsized the bid as it believes that purchasing its own shares represents a responsible allocation of cash.
The bid started Nov. 19, 2025, and will end no later than Nov. 18, 2026.
