SalesCloser Strikes Deal With OCAL Finance to Deploy AI Agents; Granted Third US Patent

By

SalesCloser Technologies (SCAI.V) said Thursday it sealed a deal with OCAL Financial (OCAL.V) for the use of its AI-driven sales technology.

OCAL already uses voice AI to reach and qualify people looking to finance a vehicle. SalesCloser's technology extends that from voice alone to selling across voice, video and screen-shared demonstrations. These demonstrations are handled by AI agents that can operate at scale and around the clock. OCAL said it intends to use these agents from first contact through to guiding a customer toward an approval.

"This moves our AI capabilities to the next generation," said Mehdi Moghareh, chief executive officer of OCAL. "We already use voice AI to reach customers. With SalesCloser, we are adding AI agents that can actually sell, over voice, video and live demonstrations, and we have secured that technology exclusively for our market. It is a genuine step change in what our platform can do."

SalesCloser earlier today said it was granted a third patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) which allows the company's AI sales agents to book appointments directly within a live conversation.

The patent covers technology that integrates directly with real-time calendar systems and lets an AI agent check real-time availability, confirm a booking, and reschedule during a voice or video call, a statement said.

The technology is already live in the SalesCloser platform.

SalesCloser shares were unchanged at C$0.65 per share on the TSX Venture Exchange.
