SalesCloser Technologies (SCAI.V) on Wednesday said it was granted an allowance for a US patent for its "Memory Management System for Appointment Scheduling".
The protected claims cover the SalesCloser's AI sales agents ability to book, confirm, and reschedule appointments directly within a live conversation, turning the exchange into a committed meeting without interrupting dialogue flow, a statement said. The technology is already operational in the SalesCloser platform.
"Getting an AI agent to hold the full context of a conversation, reach into a live calendar, and lock in a time without dropping the thread is an execution-layer problem, not a demo trick. The allowed claims cover the engineering that closes the gap between a good conversation and a confirmed meeting," chief executive Ali Tajskandar said in release.
The patent will become the company's third granted US patent.
SalesCloser shares were last seen unchanged at C$0.66 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
