Russel posted a profit of C$72 million, or $1.30 per share, up from $43 million, or $0.75, a year earlier. In exceeded the consensus estimate of $0.76 compiled by FactSet analysts.
Revenue rose 21% to to $1.41 billion, up from $1.17 billion, surpassing $1.38 billion.
In the first quarter , the company also reported an EBITDA of $124 million, which was a 44% increase over the first quarter of 2025, and an 80% increase over the fourth quarter of 2025.
The company's shares closed up $0.44 to $53.48 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
