Rock Tech Lithium Upsizes Private Placement to CA$6 Million

Rock Tech Lithium (RCK.V) agreed to upsize its previously announced private placement to 6.0 million Canadian dollars from CA$5.2 million previously.

Rock Tech plans to use the proceeds to advance a definitive feasibility study for the Georgia Lake mine and the development of the Red Rock Converter in Ontario, the company said late Tuesday.

Proceeds will also be used for general corporate and working capital purposes, Rock Tech said.

The offering now comprises about 9.2 million units priced at CA$0.65 apiece. Each unit consists of one common share and one-half of one warrant. Each warrant can be exercised at $0.90 per share for 36 months.

Rock Tech said it has closed the second tranche of its offering, comprising about 5.4 million units for CA$3.51 million in proceeds.

The company said the combined value of the first and second tranches of its offering already exceeded the original placement volume of CA$5.2 million.
