Rio2 (RIO.TO) reported Q2 adjusted net income of $0.03 per share, compared with a nil loss per share a year ago.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 totaled $105.3 million from nil in the previous year.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $105.2 million.
Rio2 produced 9.3 million pounds of copper, 13,539 ounces of gold and 75,437 ounces of silver in Q2, compared to nil last year.
Rio2 deferred its 2026 gold production guidance at the Fenix gold mine in Chile for the remainder of the year, citing extreme weather events and ongoing production ramp-up. The company previously set a 2026 output target of 60,000-65,000 gold ounces at Fenix.
