Rhelion Life Sciences' (RHEL.CN) unit, Filament Health, entered into a supply and licensing agreement with the Centre for Human Drug Research (CHDR) in Leiden, the Netherlands, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
Filament will supply PEX010, its botanical psilocybin drug candidate, for a CHDR study of psilocybin in the low and medium dose range. CHDR is conducting the study in collaboration with the PRSM Lab at Leiden University and has received funding from Norrsken Mind, it added.
Filament will supply PEX010 in 1 mg and 5 mg doses, together with matching placebo capsules. The unit will also provide regulatory support for the clinical trial application under the European Union Clinical Trials Regulation.
The sponsor of the study is CHDR.
Shares of the company were last seen up 8.3% at CA$0.0325 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
