Renascor Resources (ASX:RNU) identified multiple copper prospects at the Flat Hill exploration site of its Marree project in South Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Significant intersections include 18 meters at 1.6% copper from surface; 16.5 meters at 1.9% copper from about two meters; 10 meters at 1.8% copper from about half a meter; 134 meters at 0.6% copper from 26 meters; 10 meters at 1.3% copper from 34 meters; and nine meters at 1% copper from 39 meters.
The scale and distribution of mineralization at the Flat Hill site supports the potential for a large-scale mineralized system that extends beyond localized individual prospect areas, the company said.
It added that land access discussion are at an advanced stage alongside continued planning for on-ground exploration activities.
The company's shares advanced 10% in recent Thursday trade.
