Race Oncology Raises AU$1 Million in Strategic Placement

Race Oncology (ASX:RAC) secured around AU$1 million via a targeted private placement with a specialist healthcare-focused institutional investor, issuing 526,315 fully paid ordinary shares at AU$1.90 each, representing a 23% discount to its recent average market price, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company has raised a total of AU$31.2 million, including this placement and recent funds from piggyback and bonus option offers, to support the clinical development of RC220 and general working capital requirements, the filing added.

Viridis Mining Signs Binding Agreement with Electricity Distributor for Brazil Rare Earth Project Power Transmission Infrastructure

Viridis Mining and Minerals (ASX:VMM) signed a binding agreement with a municipal electricity distributor to deliver a dedicated power transmission infrastructure necessary to connect the Colossus rare earth project to the Brazilian electricity grid, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.The agreement includes the licensing, engineering, procurement, and construction of a dedicated 3.2-kilometer, 138-kilovolts high-voltage transmission connection from the nearby Saturnino substation to the Colossus project, as well as an initial reserved power allocation of 27 megawatts to support stage one operations.It secured reserved grid capacity commencing from December 2027. It also received tenders for key electrical infrastructure packages, including power transformers, electrical switch rooms, and associated process plant infrastructure.The connection works package is valued at around 3.97 million Brazilian real, per the filing.

Treasury Wine Estates Projects Fiscal 2026 EBITS Outlook

Treasury Wine Estates (ASX:TWE) expected fiscal year 2026 earnings before interest, tax, material items, and self-generating and regenerating assets (EBITS) to reach AU$480 million to AU$490 million, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.The firm projects fiscal year 2027 performance at least in line with the year prior, citing continued progress in normalizing customer inventory levels across China and the US.The company also expects leverage to peak at around 2.9 times in fiscal year 2026 before easing back to target by the end of fiscal year 2028, driven by free cash flow, divestment proceeds, and earnings improvement, the filing added.
