Quarterhill (QTRH.TO), up 5% on last look, on Tuesday announced $2.1 million of new weigh-in-motion (WIM) orders for transportation projects in South Korea and Thailand.
The awards further establishes Quarterhill's presence in the Asia-Pacific region, a statement said.
"These orders reflect the strength of our partnerships in the Asia-Pacific region and the continued demand for reliable transportation solutions," said Chief Executive Chuck Myers. "The intelligent transportation industry continues to evolve, and these orders demonstrate the confidence our partners place in Quarterhill's technology leadership and our ability to deliver solutions that address real-world transportation challenges."
Quarterhill shares were last seen up C$0.14, to a multi-year high of C$2.93, on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
