Purecore Metals (PURE.CN) started a data compilation and technical review program at the Yurchison Uranium Property in the Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan, it said Tuesday.
The company has an option to earn up to a 100% interest in Yurchison under its option agreement with Skyharbour Resources (SYH.V).
Purecore expects the program to integrate historical and modern geological, geochemical, geophysical and exploration information into an integrated project database and geological framework, it added.
"Yurchison has decades of exploration history and a significant volume of modern geophysical data," said Chief Executive Officer Peter Berdusco. "This program brings that information together into an integrated geological framework to refine our understanding of the property and prioritize areas for future exploration."
Shares of the company were last seen down CA$0.01 to CA$1.69 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
