Puma Exploration (PUMA.V) said Wednesday Kinross Gold (K.TO) has begun another round of drilling at the Williams Brook Gold Project in northern New Brunswick.
The initial 2,000-meter drilling program was launched at the Jaguar Gold Zone at the end of last month.
To date, it includes seven holes that will follow up on results from Kinross' winter drilling program. Drilling will target the core of the Jaguar Zone and step-out drill-test other geophysical anomalies about 500 meters away in the area, a statement said.
To earn a 65% interest in Williams Brook, Kinross has committed to finance at least C$16.75 million in exploration expenditures over 2025-2030.
Puma Exploration shares were last seen unchanged at C$0.13 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
