Puma Exploration (PUMA.V) started mechanical trenching at its McKenzie gold project in northern New Brunswick, it said Wednesday.
The company's current program is designed to extend known mineralized corridors and add more discoveries to the project pipeline at RIM Gold Vein and Grog Gold Zone, which are its two more advanced gold zones, it said.
Puma has also started trenching at Grog. The company will progressively test priority targets generated from the 2026 prospecting, geological mapping, historical data and the newly completed magnetic survey.
Shares of the company were last seen unchanged at C$0.115 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
