Pulse Seismic (PSD.TO) appointed Pamela Wicks as its president and chief executive officer, effective Aug. 6, it said after markets closed Thursday.
Wicks succeeds Neal Coleman, who has stepped down from his role as president and CEO, said the company.
Wicks was the vice president, finance and chief financial officer of the company, it said.
"As Pulse's longest tenured executive, Pamela brings extensive experience in the seismic data library industry and deep knowledge of Pulse's business to the CEO role," said Board Chair Robert Robotti.
The board has begun the search for the company's next CFO, it said. Wicks will continue overseeing the company's finance function in the interim, the company added.
The company's shares were last seen down C$0.05 to C$3.11 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
