Premier Energies (NSE:PREMIERENE, BOM:544238) and Syrma SGS Technology have called off their planned acquisition of K-Solare Energy, according to a Monday filing on Indian bourses.
Shares of the company fell nearly 5% in Tuesday's trade.
The companies terminated discussions after evaluating strategic considerations, the filing said. The termination is not expected to have a material impact on the financial standing of either firm, it added.
The proposed transaction, announced in October 2025, involved the acquisition of a 51% stake in K-Solare through a joint venture structure, according to the filing.
