Precore Gold (PRCG.CN) completed a drone-based magnetic survey at its flagship Arikepay Gold Project in southern Peru, it said Wednesday.
The company surveyed a total of 51 survey lines at 50-meter spacing and 6 control lines, for a total of 128.13 kilometers, covering an area of 579 hectares, said the company. The company expects the high-resolution magnetic survey to help identify additional targets at the project, it added.
"The launch of this airmag survey is an exciting moment for the Arikepay Project because it allows us to look beyond individual historical drill holes and begin seeing Arikepay as a continual mineral system," said Executive Chairman Paul Dumas.
The company's shares closed up CA$0.01 to CA$0.51 Tuesday on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
