Pet Valu (PET.TO) reported second quarter adjusted net income per share of C$0.41 compared to C$0.38, a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected C$0.35 per share.
Revenue increased to C$290.7 million in the quarter ended July 4, 2026, compared with C$280.6 million, a year-ago. Analysts expected revenue of C$289.5 million.
For 2026, the company reaffirmed its forecast of revenue growth between 2% and 4%, adjusted EBITDA margin of about 21%, and adjusted net income per share similar to fiscal 2025. Pet Valu's board also declared, on Monday, a dividend of C$0.13 per common share, unchanged from the prior quarter.
Shares of the company closed down 0.4% to C$18.8 on Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
