Paramount Resources (POU.TO) on Thursday reported second-quarter net income of C$0.46 per share, up from C$0.03 per share a year earlier.
Second-quarter sales volumes averaged 47,279 barrels of oil equivalent per day (Boe/d), up from 31,631 Boe/d a year earlier, the company added.
The company expects 2026 annual average sales volumes to range between 51,000 Boe/d and 53,000 Boe/d (49% liquids), compared with prior guidance range of 48,000 Boe/d to 52,000 Boe/d (50% liquids ), said the company.
The company's board of directors declared an August cash dividend of C$0.05 per class A common share that will be payable on Aug. 31 to shareholders of record on Aug. 17, it added.
The company's shares were last seen up C$2.28, or 8.1%, at C$30.34 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
