Paragon Advanced Labs Q2 Net Loss Narrows as Revenue Jumps

Paragon Advanced Labs (PALS.V) said Monday that its second-quarter net loss narrowed to C$3.35 million, from C$4.2 million in the prior year period.

The company, which provides mineral analytical services to the natural resource industry, did not provide per-share amounts.

Quarterly revenue jumped to C$4.1 million, from C$0.8 million in the second quarter of 2025.

"The second quarter provided clear evidence of the operational leverage in our business. Revenue increased 85% from Q1, we moved into positive gross profit, and we still have significant available capacity to support further growth. With recently announced commercial wins we expect the momentum to continue into the second half of the year," said Chief Executive Peter Shippen.

Paragon shares were last seen down C$0.04 at C$3.25, on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Energy Fuels Completes Australian Strategic Materials Deal to Expand Rare Earth Platform

Energy Fuels (EFR.TO) after trade Friday said it completed its acquisition of Australian Strategic Materials (ASM)."The acquisition of ASM marks a major milestone in Energy Fuels' long-term growth strategy to build an integrated mine-to-magnet rare earth platform," the company said.The deal adds ASM's operating Korean Metals Plant, giving Energy Fuels immediate metal and alloy production capacity. The plant currently produces 1,300 tonnes per year of neodymium-iron-boron alloy and is being expanded to 3,600 tonnes per year, with completion expected by the end of 2026, the company said.Along with Energy Fuels' heavy mineral sands projects in Brazil, Australia, and Madagascar, the ASM deal strengthens the company's position across mining, processing, oxides, metals, and alloys "creating a robust platform for its planned entry into permanent magnet production", it added.Following the transaction, ASM shares were delisted from the ASX, according to the statement.
