Pan Global Resources (PGZ.V) said Wednesday assay results from the Phase 3 drill campaign at the Providencia target in its Carmenes Project in Spain continue to demonstrate that mineralization from surface extends beyond the historical Providencia mine workings.
The strongest gold intersection from the current phase of drilling, was 15 meters grading 3.90 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from surface, including 8 meters grading 6.79 g/t gold, and 1 meter 1 meter grading 18.55 g/t gold, a statement said.
"The latest drilling continues to demonstrate significant exploration potential at Providencia, with gold and polymetallic mineralization extending well beyond the historical copper-cobalt-nickel mine workings," said Tim Moody, chief executive officer.
Pan Global shares were unchanged at CA$0.17 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
