Pan Global Resources' (PGZ.V) tender bids for the Salamon Gold project, submitted through its two units in Spain, has been accepted by the regional Directorate General of Energy and Mines, subject to an ongoing appeal, it said in a statement on Monday.
The rights to the project, which is comprised of two mineral exploration permits covering 19 mining grid units totaling about 532 hectares in the Leon Province of Northern Spain, were secured through a competitive public tender process conducted by the regional authorities of Castile and Leon, it said.
The company said that it has been advised that another bidder has appealed the decision of the Directorate General. The final acceptance of Pan Global's tender bid is subject to disposition of the appeal, it added.
Shares of the company were last seen unchanged at CA$0.17 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
