Opus One Gold (OOR.V) on Wednesday afternoon announced the final assay results from its 2026 drilling program at its Noyell Gold property in Quebec's Abitibi Greenstone Belt, near Matagami.
Drilling raced the Zone 1 gold-mineralized structure continuously from the surface to about 750 meters in vertical depth, and the mineralization remained open at depth, the company said.
Drilling also identified a strong mineralized trend in the eastern part of Zone 1. One previously announced hole returned 4.92 grams per metric tonne of gold over 11.37 meters at a vertical depth of roughly 700 meters, the company added.
"With all 2026 assay results now received, the company's geological team is integrating the complete drill database into an updated geological and structural interpretation of the Noyell Property," Opus One stated.
