Opus One Gold (OOR.V) on Wednesday provided more assay results from the winter drilling program on its Noyell property in Quebec.
Highlights include 11.37 meters grading 4.92 grams per tonne (g/t) gold in drill hole Hole NO-26-21a, confirming that the high-grade gold mineralization in zone 1 is continuous from surface down to the 700 metre level, the company said.
This high-grade shoot remains very strong and open at depth, it added.
Opus noted this interval is located on the same cross section but 200 metres below the previously released hole NO-26-07 which returned 8.22 g/t gold over 8.5 m (true width: 7.16 m). Very few results have been received yet from the West Zone drill holes, it also noted.
"Continuity is good, grade is good, thickness is good as well," Chief Executive Officer Louis Morin said. "It looks very encouraging for future programs we will plan to verify potential continuity."
Shares in Opus were at last look up $0.01 at $0.065.
