NVRO Metals Advances Development of Tailings Processing

NVRO Metals' (NVRO.V) tailings processing completed a continuous production demonstration using material from Hecla Mining's (HL) Greens Creek operation in Alaska, NVRO said Friday.

The processing solution completed 202 hours of continuous operation, with preliminary results indicating the potential recovery of metals from Greens Creek tailings, NVRO said.

"The consistency of the operating performance and the preliminary metallurgical results give us confidence that the process is performing in line with our engineering expectations," Chief Executive Officer Grant Freeman said. "We now look forward to receiving the balance of the independent laboratory results."

Inventronics Q2 Net Earnings Stay Flat

Inventronics (IVX.V) said Thursday after trade that second-quarter net earnings were relatively flat, edging down slightly to C$0.027 per share, from C$0.028 per share, in the prior year period.The company said revenue rose slightly, to C$2.3 million from C$2.2 million, over the same period.Inventronics shares last traded on Aug. 19, closing unchanged at C$0.75 per share.
