The North West Company (NWC.TO) reported second quarter adjusted net earnings of CA$40.6 million, compared with CA$39.6 million, a year earlier.
Sales increased to CA$682.0 million in the three months ended July 31, 2026, compared with CA$647.0 million, a year-ago. Analysts expected sales of CA$661.0 million.
Its board also declared a quarterly dividend of CA$0.42, an increase of CA$0.01 or 2.4% per share from the prior quarter, it said. The dividend is payable to shareholders of record on Sept. 30, on Oct. 15.
Shares of the company closed down 0.6% to CA$49.1 on Tuesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
